Piaget Real Estate Group is the place where architecture meets culture. We develop high-end real estate in places with a story to tell, and we, too, aspire, with genuine interest, to further understand the extensive humanities and create meaningful connections.
The journey begins in Mexico.
The communities of the Mesoamerican peoples were one of the seven primary urban generations on planet Earth to transition humanity from residing in villages into the world of the city. Mexican culture goes back to the Mayan civilization of the Mesoamerican people. A region of the pre-Columbian era, these lands were places where societies comprising modern-day central to southern Mexico, Costa Rica, Honduras, El Salvador, Belize, and Guatemala thrived for 3,000 years.
It is an invitation to feel.
One of the most beautiful qualities of Mexican culture is it invites us to feel. People in Mexico find meaning in caretaking their natural habitats with great sentiment. Nature and its expression create an encouraging space that invites us to feel beyond traditional Western experiences. The spirituality and feeling this culture can evoke is a sincere reflection of authentic empathy expressed through their folklore, dance, gastronomy, and tenacious spirit.
Culture defines who we are and informs who we may become.
The first image above, The Pyramid of the Magician in Uxmal, Mexico, is a four-hour drive from Playa Del Carmen, Quintana Roo, or one hour drive from Merida, Yucatan. Playa Del Carmen and Merida are part of what was once a united and thriving ancient Mayan community in the Yucatan Peninsula. The second image is of a ceramic piece called Standing Female with Basket from Mesoamerican, Veracruz, Nopiloa style, 7th-10th century, currently at The Cleveland Museum of Art.
